MORONLINE: my "Culprit Collection"

This blog began with letters I'd received from those on the social sites who don't read profiles, so they emailed me needlessly. It has veered into complete idiot territory, as now the bulk of these guys (and girls!) are clearly employed by swindlers. They do NOT pay attention to profiles, and they assume they are the only ones doing it & that their messages will be believable.

THE TITLE, "MORONLINE" SIMPLY PUTS 'MORON' AND 'ONLINE' TOGETHER.

It's astounding ...

What causes me the most marvel is how someone with a profile the way MINE is worded is THIS POPULAR. If they'd read it rationally, I'm hardly the magnet they make me out to be.
Therefore I've decided to re-display it, with the picture that seems to be driving the poor boys to distraction ... what is it about this photo?? The hair is messy, it's not even a clear image, and ... really: for all they know, it could be a total fake. I might be a 99-year-old man with no hair at all, rotted teeth, crossed eyes, etc..
these guys are jumping to a LOT of conclusions about me just from this blurry little pic.
The profile gist, then, is here:
"User ID: cscp189704
Age Range: 40-47
Height: 5'3
Weight: 185-199lbs
Eye Color: Blue
City: Victoria
Headline: HERE FOR *ONLY FRIENDS*, NOTHING ELSE.
What Kim is looking for in a person:
Please don't write to me if you want a romantic partner, ok? I won't reply, and your email will be deleted.
Kim's Personality, Character Traits, Faith, etc:
I'm overweight. I don't get out much to exercise, and my apartment is very cluttered. I am stubborn, moody and I don't take much of life seriously, even church. I love God, but I didn't come to faith by way of church, so I don't have a religious routine. I don't pray in tongues, raise my hands, or have daily devotions. I make a really good friend. THAT'S ALL. NOTHING MORE!! ...................... EVER!!
"

Here's today's unfortunate stuck fly (I never keep them, I let them all go ~ I'm not a mean or deliberate spider).

I guess I sort of feel bad for not writing back, but if they're not swift enough to have grasped what my profile says, it would be like kicking puppies to send them my rejection letter. Obviously someone who builds goo around me (to such an extent that he sincerely expects a reply!!) isn't quite possessed of the whole deck, has some Oreos missing from the bag, needs a new light bulb, etc. ... is either wa-a-a-a-ay too sensitive to cope well with a 'no thanks', OR he's got the teachability of a lead pipe.

GUYS, READ THE PROFILE.

... actually I decided I would reply, just because I felt like setting him straight. Most of the time I don't bother, but something about him seemed like he'd benefit from the truth. Come to think of it, I did that the previous time too .. oh well anyway, here's what I said:
Sent To: cscp******
Subject: nice of you, but no thanx

(*please* read the profile of a person before investing feelings such as you've expressed to me. They're very kind, and I'm flattered.)

However, I am NOT looking for more than JUST FRIENDS, ok? I typically don't even answer this kind of message but I don't want to be mean to you.

sorry, take it easy, best wishes.

Well, he might take offense .. which is always a chance I take when responding to these fellas. I can't block people on singles.org, so I just have to hope they move on without vitriol. Personally I wish that site would upgrade to feature filters and blocking, but for now it's still usable. If they do write again and it's unpleasant, I simply don't reply.

*sigh* ... next?
