Now I'm wondering if yourchristianzone dealt yet with the email privacy issue. I didn't like the ability of strangers to obtain my personal address! What a dumb idea .. what were they thinking??

Originally, the sites from which these messages have been collected were meant as a way to make some friends and increase my social horizon. It was never intended to draw the attention of anybody for romantic reasons. Because of the cluelessness of about 97% of my writers, I was getting annoyed that nobody seemed to care that my profile clearly states I'm only there for friends. I felt it was a waste of time.

However, in light of this rather astounding barrage of totally *wacky* correspondence, I've decided to maintain my memberships on the sites. This is getting funnier with every new email I get! Not only that, now I have a 'net' that can expose these creeps for the scammers they are. That's why I chose to show their names and addresses after all. I was initially thinking it's better to guard their privacy ... but NOT when they're trying to deceive the innocently helpful.
Try emailing one of them! See what happens. Bait them right back. Make up a phony account and play along. See how far they try to lead you down the garden path.

What causes me the most marvel is how someone with a profile the way MINE is worded is THIS POPULAR. If they'd read it rationally, I'm hardly the magnet they make me out to be.
Therefore I've decided to re-display it, with the picture that seems to be driving the poor boys to distraction ... what is it about this photo?? The hair is messy, it's not even a clear image, and ... really: for all they know, it could be a total fake. I might be a 99-year-old man with no hair at all, rotted teeth, crossed eyes, etc..

I guess I sort of feel bad for not writing back, but if they're not swift enough to have grasped what my profile says, it would be like kicking puppies to send them my rejection letter. Well, he might take offense .. which is always a chance I take when responding to these fellas. I can't block people on singles.org, so I just have to hope they move on without vitriol. This guy is sincere enough, but HE DOESN'T READ. What does it take to get across to these fellas that they're wasting their time on me?
By the way, now and then I get mail from men who DO want to be just friends (at least that's what they say), so those guys I will answer. I always send a disclaimer in the form of a 'thank you for paying attention, other guys keep trying to pick me up'. .. If the emailer has such an agenda, he won't write back. It's an excellent screening tool ... to screen out the tools.

The 'with it' guys will keep in touch because they were upfront. I've made some new friends even tho' it took patience to weed through the cornfield.
